About Our Make Up Qualifications
At Level 2, our CIBTAC make-up qualifications cover the core skills of a make-up artist, such as day, evening and bridal looks. With a Level 2 qualification a therapist could work in a beauty salon, or provide mobile services to brides, or for special occasions such as proms and birthdays. There are also many employment opportunities in retail, where customers expect ‘make-overs’ and make-up consultations, as well as more detailed advice over purchases compared to someone who has not studied a make-up qualification.
At Level 3, our CIBTAC make-up qualifications cover more advanced techniques required in the fashion and media sectors, leading to possible employment in theatre, TV and fashion shoots. Also at this level students can learn skills such as body art and airbrushing.
