Established in 1954, the Elly Lukas Beauty Therapy College is a specialist centre for beauty, spa and dermal therapies offering beauty, massage and spa therapy courses including the highest beauty therapy qualification available in Australia - the Diploma of Beauty Therapy. The College is registered to accept International Students and offers CIBTAC qualifications which are recognised globally. Working closely with industry, the College maintains relevant training and has a global network of industry links with leading employers and can assist you with international placements in key locations such as the Maldives, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, Elemis and of course throughout Australia at luxury resorts such as Hayman Island and Spa qualia, Crown Spa , Peninsula Hot Springs and at the Mt Buller Ski Resort Breathtaker Spa.
We approach teaching and learning by providing you with relevant underpinning knowledge combined with the confidence to apply your newly obtained skills in the workplace. Our training spa and salon facility allows you to practice your skills in a real life salon/spa environment whilst you learn. The College's new Melbourne City campus is a purpose built facility featuring modern equipment and state-of the-art facilities including specialist day spa, wet tables, vichy shower, aromatherapy and steam areas designed to give students valuable knowledge and experience with up-to-date salon/spa treatments as they become available in the industry. Upon course commencement Students attend an Orientation Retreat and may also attend industry tours to leading locations such as the Whitsunday Islands at the Great Barrier Reef Queensland and a Sydney Leadership Conference.
